On October 27, 2023, Universal Pictures will release Five Nights at Freddy’s in the US simultaneously in cinemas and on Peacock. Jason Blum, CEO of Blumhouse Productions, known for producing horror movies, in February 2023 when shooting of the film undergoing revealed via his Twitter account that the movie will come by the end of this year. FNAF was initially set to be produced by Warner Bros. Pictures who acquired the film’s rights to the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game franchise. But after Warner Bros. Pictures placed the project in turnaround, Cawthon announced Blumhouse Productions as the new production company for the movie in a tweet in March 2017.
Not only has the production company changed, but the director and script have also seen numerous changes. Gil Kenan signed on to direct the movie in 2015, but Chris Columbus took over in 2018 and finally the movie was made under the direction of Emma Tammi, the new director of the film.

Mike Schmidt, the main character in Five Nights at Freddy’s, is a young man who accepts the position of a nighttime security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a family entertainment complex that includes a pizza and an indoor amusement park. But he soon realized the trouble when he came to know that the multiple animatronic mascots were not just standard robots, they are alive and kill anyone in the complex after midnight.
Naturally, none of this is good news for night-shift guard Mike, as he has to protect himself from the scary robots and make it through the brutal 6 hours night shift.
