A very famous action-adventure game ‘The Last of Us’ developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment has released its second part named ‘Last of Us Part 2 remastered’ at 12AM on Friday, Jan 19 on GMT and at 9 PM PST on Thursday, Jan 18.
Players of this game control a smuggler tasked with escorting Joel and a teenage girl named Ellie. The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players use firearms and improvised weapons and can also use stealth to defend themselves against hostile humans and bells. In online multiplayer mode, 8 players can be engaged.

Naughty Dog began developing The Last of Us in 2009. For the first time teams of Naughty Dog split into two teams; one team started focusing on the development of Uncharted 3:Drake’s Deception and the other team began to focus on The Last of Us. Inspiration Story
The theme of The Last of Us got its inspiration from the books ‘The Road (2006)’ and ‘City of Thieves (2008)’ and the film ‘No Country for Old Men’. This included all memorable characters and was used as a point of inspiration. The premise is entirely fictional but is based on some really fascinating science.

What really is the bonus content is the new mode named No Return is a Rouge-like survival game in which the player can stay alive as long as possible through multiple enemy attack waves. Tim Turi stated that the game is “even more breath-taking” than the last of us.
Release and Reviews
After delays in release the final release of The Last of Us Part 2 was released for Play-station 5 on 19th Jan 2024.
