She started her career  as a child actor in 1995 from a film named “Akele Hum Akele Tum” and made her debut from a television show named “Shaka Laka Boom Boom” in 2002.

She gained her popularity from the roles played by her as Sneha Bajaj in the serial “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”, Ganga Bhatia in “Sangam” and Dr. Riddhima Gupta in “Dil Mill Gayye”.

Winget worked in a serial named “Saraswatichandra” where she worked as a “Kumud Sundari Desai”. Also she played the role of psychological thriller series “Beyhadh”. Jennifer worked into web series with ALT Balaji’s crime drama “Code M” for which she was nominated at the Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Actress Series (Female).

Jennifer was born on 30th May 1985 in Bombay, India. She is a daughter of a Punjabi mother Prabha Winget and a Maharashtrian Christian father Hemant Winget. She is often mistaken for a person of non-Indian origins due to her western first name. Jennifer did her schooling from St. Xavier’s School and she did her college from K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce.

Jennifer Winget and Karan Singh Grover started working together in a television serial named “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” but they admitted they don’t have any feeling for each other. While working together again in 2007 in a show named “Dill Mill Gaye”. Karan divorced his wife Shraddha Nigam while filming of the show.

The on screen chemistry of Jennifer and Karan received a lot of love and affection from audience. Jennifer married Karan Singh Grover on 9th April 2012 after dating for three years. In Nov 2014 she announced that she and Karan had separated.

After winning the show she hosted the second season of the show. In 2013 she was starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s television show “Saraswatichandra” where she played the role of Kumud Desai opposite to Gautam Rode. For her performance she received number of awards.
